Terms and Conditions:
Competition runs from 10th June to 15th July 2024 for existing affiliate channel customers, who stand a chance to win 1 of 10 R 5000 Shoprite E-Vouchers. To be entered, affiliates must achieve more than 8 sales during the competition period. Sales are counted as first bill paid for sales and entry is automatic. Entrants must be over the age of 18 years to participate. Employees or any entity associated with Webafrica are excluded. The winners will be selected through a random draw on 19th July 2024 and the judge’s decision is final. Only 1 prize per customer will be awarded and winners will be notified via their account contact details and will be contacted a minimum of 3 times. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim the prize within 30 days of notification, or if the prize cannot be handed over due to insufficient identity verification, the winner may forfeit the prize. Webafrica reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible winner under the same conditions. Prizes are not transferable. Proof of identity matching the affiliate customer details will be require and Webafrica reserves the right to refuse handing over a prize if a potential winner refuses or cannot provide sufficient documentation to verify their identity. Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Data Protection (POPIA)
Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to the following:
Webafrica may process the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the course and scope of the Competition; and Webafrica may transfer the winning Participant’s personal information, including names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable, for utilization of the Prize during the course and scope of the Competition, which processing and transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 14 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other applicable law, and for the purpose of giving effect to the Competition.
With the exception of Competition Rule 18 above, Webafrica will not share any personal information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable Webafrica to provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Competition Rules and/or the Prize, where such disclosure is permitted by law and/or where consent to Webafrica sharing personal information is obtained from the Participants. Webafrica will comply with the relevant data protection legislation, including POPIA.
